Andrew Hoxie Signs With Legacy 76

 

 

Williamsburg Va. – Legacy 76 is proud to announce the return of Andrew Hoxie to the 2016 roster. Two time Virginia Legacy youth state champion, Hoxie is touted as being the most successful Legacy alum to date with a prestigious resume including being the 37th overall pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft by the San Jose Earthquakes.

Hoxie grew up in Newport News, Virginia and attended Denbigh Baptist Christian School, where he won a state championship with the Minutemen.  Hoxie played four years of college soccer at The College of William & Mary from 2005 to 2009, garnishing the CAA Player of the Year Award in his senior season, as well as earning third team All-American honors in 2009, and finishing his career with the Tribe with 91 points on 35 goals and 21 assists.

During his college years Hoxie also played for Virginia Legacy in the USL Premier Development League (now Legacy 76), scoring 20 goals in 42 appearances in his 4 campaigns with the club.

Baltimore Blast: 2016

Hoxie joins us now from his current campaign with the Baltimore Blast where he contributed 15 goals in 19 games to help his team win the professional indoor MASL championship.
