Legacy Staff Attend USSF "D" License Course

Legacy Staff Attend USSF "D" License Class

Recently the Legacy Soccer Club sent several coaches to the US Soccer - USSF "D" license course.  US Soccer holds monthly courses all around the state and nation to improve the coaching of soccer. This particular course was held in Richmond, Va over 3 days. Coaches, Jamie Gunderson, Frank Hughes, Josh West, JJ Kim, Jamie Gunderson, and Alex Spirn all represented the Virginia Legacy. Coaching courses are great opportunities for coaches to learn new trends of the game, proper teaching methods and also the admin/planning involved in making their practices better. Each participant will be asked to coach and be coached by his/her peers during the week, thus demonstrating their ability to cultivate and develop a proper learning environment. It is a major goal of Virginia Legacy that all of its staff are professionally licensed and continuing their education.

What is the D course?
