Richmond, VA - The Virginia Legacy would like to congratulate the U16 Titans Red, and the U18 Titans on their outstanding performances during the Richmond Strikers Fall Capital Classic.  Both teams showed a tremendous amount of skill and competitive spirit throughout the event, and represented the Legacy to the highest degree.

The U16 Titans Red topped their group, winning 2-0 against the Reston Alliance, and tying 1-1 with the Poquoson Sharks.  In the semi-finals, the Titans were drawn into a shootout, but came out on top against the Stafford Revolution, 8-3.  In the championship match, the Legacy boys found themselves in a rematch agains the Poquoson Sharks, but the results were dramatically different during the second time around.  The Titans Red fired off four goals, and kept a clean sheet, claiming the Capital Fall Classic title with a definitive statement.  

The U18 Titans cruised to first place during the group stages, defeating Heart of Virginia 5-1 and VIP United 4-0.  In the sem-final match, the Titans squared off against Chesterfield United, and were able to come out on top by a score of 3-2.  In the finals, the Titans played well, but were unable to overcome the Richmond Strikers, finishing as finalists in the Captial Fall Classic.
